Monty Leavell

Senior Pastor

I grew up in Texico, NM, and was very active in 4-H and FFA. After graduating from NMSU with a degree in Animal Science, I was pursuing my dream of ranching. However, God had other plans. While working on a ranch and serving in a small Methodist Church, I felt the call into ministry. I attended Asbury Theological Seminary and received my Master of Divinity degree in 1993. I've served three churches in the New Mexico and Northwest Texas Annual Conferences. Philippians 3:7-12 is my favorite Scripture because "I want to know Christ more."

Luke blackmon

Student Ministry Pastor

Luke was raised in Lubbock, and graduated from Frenship High School. He attended Iona University in New Rochelle, NY where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Religion. He graduated Magna Cum Laude, and was inducted into two honor societies. While going to college, he worked as a Young Life Leader, lead student events, and worked to establish authentic relationships with the students.
